This Grandfather . . .

I’ll start with a hearty “Thank You!” to the late Mr. Jobs and the developers at Apple that in 2007, created a device that could take a quality photo and then instantly transmit it anywhere in the world.  This grandfather is forever in your debt and will continue to buy your products whenever possible.

Some of you will remember taking film photographs, dropping the roll off at the drug store to be developed and then coming back a week later, paying for them, only to learn that they were out of focus and the subjects had their eyes closed, mouths open or some other attribute which caused you to throw them away.

We have come a long way, but I digress.

Toddlers have no filters.

As The lights are turned on. Well, look at that!

I’ve observed they are either “all in” or “not today”. There is little to no  middle ground.

Taking it all in.

There will be time to teach her about Jesus and the real meaning of Christmas, but for now, we will go with the joy and wonder of the new sights, sounds and events of the Christmas Season.

Helping

Later today, Alicia and I will be with Adeline and her little brother Theodore as she will experience her first Christmas Parade.

(Oh, and her mother and father will be there also. How can I forget them?)

  3. Grandkids are truly the icing on the cake. My dad always says if he knew they were so much fun he would have had them first LOL.
