Everyone Is from Somewhere

It has become a bit of a tradition for me, that like Alice’s Restaurant on Thanksgiving, I listen to “Another Christmas Song” on Christmas Day.  Often several times.

Jethro Tull has never been known for sentimental, thought provoking lyrics,  but I can’t listen to this song without getting teary eyed and it’s been that way since I first heard it many, many years ago, (1989).

Now, I am now the old man, calling for his supper, calling for his whisky and calling for his daughters (and son in laws)  to come round.

Merry Christmas everyone and may your blood stay strong!
