Saddle Up

Several factors have kept me from these pages over the last few days and in a few minutes, I’ll start an 11-hour drive to NJ to see mom.

Well, not exactly.  I’m driving up there to bring her back to SC tomorrow and finally introduce her to her great-granddaughter and have her spend Thanksgiving week with us,   That will be approximately 1,525 miles in two days.  Yes, I’m still crazy and one day I will be too old to do 755 miles in one day.

Hopefully, I’m not that old yet.

Everyone will be here. . .her great-granddaughter,  three granddaughters, a son in law, a soon to be son in law, a few friends and all the dogs she has only heard about, aside from a few photos.

Hoping a thermos of strong coffee and my iTunes will see me through the day.

To the batmobile.
