I joined Linkedin shortly after it was launched in 2003. At different points in my career I was a premium ($$) member, but mostly I used the free version.
I saw this post the other day and it made me mad. I do not know the exact content of the article, so maybe there is a valid reason, but I stress “maybe”. Is the world losing it’s collective mind? The NCAA #1 Female Swimmer is a biologocal male. The Time Woman of the Year is a biological male. Where are all the women’s rights advocates that have been making their voices heard for years?
Crickets. Afraid of being cancled by the woke elite?
Over the last few years, Linkedin has morphed in to just another FB. I even get women wanting to connect with me to offer their nude pictures, but I guess that is not against their professional community standards?
Now this. Is nothing sacred?
And more importantly, and I do not know the answer, why is this taking place?
I Hope Amy B doesn’t mind my sharing this.

A screen capture from my Linkedin feed.
If we continue the way we are heading I may consider self identifying as a unicorn!

When MicroSoft bought LinkedIn a few years ago, I knew it was over for the platform. Sad, because I got some really great jobs by using LinkedIn before it gave into corporate greed.

Ricky Gervais just released a new special, and there’s a bit in it about this subject.
He really nails how a lot of people feel about this.
I encourage you to check it out. 😎
