364 Days Clean, Then. . .

To start, please know that I take addiction/recovery very, very seriously and this post in no way should be interpreted otherwise.  Sometimes though, I just need to laugh at myself a bit.

Last evening, returning home from work, I found two, green boxes on my desk in the den that my wife had left for me.  I knew immediately that it was time to re-cycle a post from a while ago. One, that of all the short stories I have told in 12 years of blogging, very well may be my favorite.

When I  searched for it, I found that it was published on February 13, 2021.

It is called, We Both Knew.

I stopped to buy some Girl Scout cookies and she had sold out of Thin Mints. I thought at the time it might be a blessing in disguise! 🙂 We did some damage with the other cookies instead.
