Angels Rejoice

I don’t think I have ever met Rev. Tim McClendon.

My loss.

I retired from funeral service about the same time he came to be the senior pastor of a local church.  It was shortly thereafter that I found his blog and since then, I have never missed reading his thoughts.

Pastor Tim speaks to the truth and I find his observations cogent, informative and easy to read.

His blog is named A Potter’s View (after one of his hobbies)

Today,   When You Haven’t Got A Prayer hit the streets.

Aside from a great “message,” Pastor Tim simultaneously solves one of the great mysteries of the Internet.

An excerpt:

Prayer is the contrite sinner’s voice
Returning from his ways
While angels in their songs rejoice
And cry, “Behold! He prays!”
