At My Pharmacy

FullSizeRenderThe next few days will be spent searching for answers to questions, some that may not have been asked yet, but I have always tried  to plan ahead.

There will also be some sand-time with our daughter, her fiance and one of my former band-mate  buddies. Additionally, there will be introspection, silliness, guitars, beach food and even a little work.

Forest Beach in the Fall…..Priceless.

Most of us experience times when we  question ourselves and maybe even  life in general, don’t we?   Sometimes, we can’t find answers to those questions and some individuals opt to medicate themselves to deal with or escape  the pain.

Salt water and music are the medicines that heal my mind and spirit.  I am at the pharmacy. Thank you to my wife for encouraging me to go on this retreat.

Thinking on the “Questions” theme this morning, I thought of this “Power Ballad” from the the early 80’s when power ballads ruled and I was just a kid in college. . . with no idea.  Listen to the lyrics.  Are you with me now?

Yup …. I’m with you! I needed that and you will be delighted to hear that I am gradually educating the French through the power of your music choices because at the moment the weather is still fabulous and I sit in the garden playing your choices. It’s very good for them! Enjoy your break. It sounds blissful
