I’ve been reprimanded by some kid, maybe with a man-bun, working as an independent fact checker from his mom’s basement. (just guessing on that).
Last night, in the spirt of Christmas and the end of the work week, I posted, what I thought was a witty meme of a Christmas ornament on a tree with a picture of Jeff Eps**in and the words “This ornament didn’t h**g itself either.”
This is what I received:
With all the dangerous things you can find on FB without even trying (not that I look, but I’ve heard), this appears a little fishy to me. Suicide is very serious, as I well know from my careers in Fire/EMS and Funeral Service. To think however, that the meme might trigger someone to attempt/complete suicide, might just be a stretch.
I just hope that Elon Musk didn’t see my post before it was taken down. Maybe he can buy and straighten out FB next?
For the record, I’m not considering harming myself and am in perfectly good health for a 62 year old guy, but I take great comfort knowing that the kids at FB are genuinely looking out for me and not censoring my First Amendment Right to voice my opinion.
Wow. Ridiculous.

I gave up on FB because I got fed up with those sanctimonious little twerps putting me in detention every time I posted something that hurt their feelings or made them feel unsafe or otherwise gave them the vapors. Life is too short to deal with b.s. like that.

I received a note yesterday that my access to FB will be limited ( but they don’t explain how) for the next 28 days.

I lost count of how many times they did that to me. (I was a repeat offender.)

Facebook and YouTube would be better places with Elon at the helm.
