Adeline and Theodore are fortunate that they live a few doors down from the pond in their neighborhood. This makes for an easy, fun activity without having to load them into their car seats and driving somewhere.
Norman goes along for the walk, but if you could read his mind, he might be waiting for the “boom” so he can hit the water, and get one of those ducks gently in his grip to bring back just to be petted and hear “Good Boy”….it’s somewhere in those genes. You can see it in his eyes. He resists the urge and behaves. 
A brief walk, giggles and smiles, happy ducks and back home.
Repeat the next day.
Life is good.
