Taken at my feeder a few years ago.

I will never forget the look on the cashier’s face as she scanned the bag of birdseed and I asked her how long does it take for the birds to grow once I plant them?

My first “Bad dad joke” I’ll see myself out.

Since you live in the south you could have planted your bird seed before Easter, even though my wife’s grandmother said you can’t plant anything before Easter. You could be enjoying an early harvest of bluebirds or chickadees. We planted early and have an early crop of cardinals and bluebirds. Try this next year.
