Sunday Pipes #53

First, I was shocked to see that I hadn’t posted anything since last Sunday. It was an extremely busy week and then I drove up  to Michigan  (14 hours)  to visit Megan, Andrew, Maddox, Martha and Winnie. (Punching this out with the two dogs at my feet.)

I heard this piece, although a different version, while driving somewhere in Kentucky on Friday  afternoon.

George Frederick Handel, Organ Concerto #12  “Air”. Rodney Jantzi on the Berlin Reed Organ

Now, back to the grandson….

My mother played at a cathedral here in the states during the 1950’s, early 60’s…. Several record recordings to her credit ( well, the choir she played for) and that’s probably where I grew to love the organ.
