December 24, 2017, 0700, Isle of Palms, SC. (37 F.) Sunrise in 17 minutes, slack tide. Pondering.

We know certainly that our God calls us to a holy life. We know that He gives us every grace, every abundant grace; and though we are so weak of ourselves, this grace is able to carry us through every obstacle and difficulty.

-Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

And certainly (hopefully) in addition to grace, God remains patient when one’s faith, once strong and vibrant, withers in the Fall and again becomes but a dry mustard seed.

  1. Amen…..sometimes in those desert spaces, when faith is weak you just hang on to trust in God’s grace and I guess that, in itself, is an act of faith.Merry Christmas to you and yours Ray.
