Easier Said Than Done

“Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could”. . .  Steve Jobs.

I’ve read a few books about Jobs and it seems he may have been a bit of a paradox in this area. Still a good quote, though.

  1. Jobs was a large paradox. I knew people who worked for him. On one side he was an inspiration, but could also be a tyrant. One person I know told a story of Jobs being told that something he wanted to do would be against the US tax laws. Jobs reported replied, “Okay, let’s get the law changed.”
