I’ve read a few books about Jobs and it seems he may have been a bit of a paradox in this area. Still a good quote, though.
Jobs was a large paradox. I knew people who worked for him. On one side he was an inspiration, but could also be a tyrant. One person I know told a story of Jobs being told that something he wanted to do would be against the US tax laws. Jobs reported replied, “Okay, let’s get the law changed.”

I don’t think I agree with the first part of the quote, but I like the second half.
