Autumn in our part of South Carolina is fairly predictable… It might be in the low 40’s in the morning, but the temperature is likely to be close to 70 during the afternoon, before it drops rapidly after sunset and we have a frost advisory for tomorrow morning.
Sweatshirts in the morning and shorts in the afternoon.
The Maple trees seem to be a bit brighter this year and bloggers are writing about them

I thought of an old song from 1972 Album that was made famous by the instrumental song, Frankenstein. The album was named They Only Come Out At Night, (not a weak song on it!) the band was The Edgar Winter Group and the song . . . Autumn. Written by the late Dan Hartman, it is a folksy, love ballad.
Thank you Ray. 40 to 70, that is Heaven.

My younger brother and sister used to riff on Frankenstein by imitating the instruments.

As did I. The chord progression was fairly simple.
