With Great Appreciation

Two reminders here today.

Not my cartoon and I take no credit for it being brilliant.

First, thank you for all the birthday wishes.  I have often joked that my wife wouldn’t be able to six guys to carry my casket, so I’m getting cremated.  With well over 700 birthday wishes across a few platforms, I still think it may be a concern, but can still laugh about it.

Thank you all and I wish I had time to acknowledge all of your messages personally, but simply cannot.  I really do appreciate  your thoughtfulness.

As luck would have it, I was able to spend a few hours on my birthday with my granddaughter and her parents, that would be Elissa & Cole. An early dinner and some playtime was all it took to make my day.

I am constantly reminded that grandchildren are God’s gift for not murdering your children when they were teenagers.  (not that ours were that bad)

Adeline was in charge of our selfies…yes, she really  was.


The next picture reminds me of a commercial from several years ago.  Albeit a red haired, blue eyed version.
