The Tradition Continues

Ever since Tom and Nancy Hartmann introduced me to this song  some 41 years ago, not a Thanksgiving has passed that I have not played it. I still have a vinyl album that Tom gave me.

Now, since they are both deceased, the song reminds me of all the ambulance calls we ran together, fun times we spent together and it’s my special day to remember them.

So, while so many things may be different this year, there is one thing my family can count on… listening to this song several times.

About Ray V.

I’m smiling. Fun tradition. I have this album, vinyl and all, and played it recently, chuckling all the way. It brought back some fun memories for me, too. Cheers!
