Warble This

This is the second installment of old pictures taken during my bird watching days. The purpose of doing so is to remind me of the beauty of God’s creation as I watch all the hate and ugliness that we are experiencing.

These two were taken of a female, Yellow Warbler on February 5, 2010, which happens to be the day before my very first blog post on the old site. The bird is shown above and at our suet block feeder.

The thing to keep in mind is that these photos were taken from inside, through a double pane window at a distance of about 20′ from the feeders. It is close to a  miracle that the camera  (Olympus 420) was able to focus as clear as it did.

So I guess the bird watching inspired you to start blogging…

Nope… the blog was already planned for and set up prior. I went back and looked and first “bird” blog I could find was April 25, 2011…over a year later. They were just two happy coincidences
