At the age of 60, this is my first Fathers Day without my father.

This picture, is the earliest I have of us two together….It was 57 years ago and I was three years old.

There are a lot of great memories between then and September 6, 2019.

He was ready. It was time, but I still miss him.

With dad gone, I guess I’ve been promoted to “Patriarch”. I have my great wife, three wonderful daughters, two  super son-in-laws, a magical granddaughter and our dogs.

Its a few years old, but will always beone of my favorites.

Our daughters have grown into responsible, caring women. Each different, each amazing in their own way.

These three will be my legacy and I know that legacy will be in good hands.

I am a fortunate man.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there.

  3. Happy Father’s Day Ray. I still celebrate my father but know he’s in a much better place. I suspect he may be having a bit of a toast with his own father 😉
