Hello, . . .

In less than 12 hours, I read a blog post about Johnny Cash and came across a quotable quote.

A coincidence?  Maybe?

Check out Jim’s “Borden’s Blather” for the blog post (it’s very interesting).

And here is the quote:

“Trust gets you killed, love gets you hurt and being real gets you hated”

It is definitely a departure from Archbishop Sheen’s quote yesterday, that’s for sure.

From the same performance, here is my favorite, recorded at San Quentin Prison on February 24, 1969.
