Our New Normal?

My wife and I have been spending every day together for a little over a month now and aside from not being able to see the girls and granddaughter, it doesn’t seem all that much different.

Well, at least I thought so.

Earlier this afternoon, I was in my office, looking some things up online when I heard Alicia call from the adjacent family room, “Do you have a stabbing pain in your chest like if someone had a voodoo doll and was stabbing it”?

I replied, “No.”

A few seconds later I heard, “How about now?”

Thanks, Honey.  I love you too.
