I spent most of today thinking it was Wednesday.
Just a few minutes ago, I saw that tomorrow is Friday, so I must be off a day, but what does it matter?
Earlier this evening, I drove Alicia over to her school to get something from her classroom that she needs for teaching from home.
Downtown quiet, the church, quiet, the school, quiet.
Eerily quiet.
As we unlocked and made our way through the gates, I was struck by the beauty of these Hydrangeas standing watch at the entrance to the playground.
People are scared, the streets are empty, but God continues to share His handiwork.
In all the craziness, take a minute to notice the beauty.
And remember tomorrow is Friday.

While we remain inside the confines of home, Nature is planning a pleasant surprise for us at the end of this.

No stay in your house order here yet. But, the other day – Tuesday – our town enacted a 24-hour “curfew” . Didn’t know about it until Thursday. It seems to be aimed at disbanding the large groups of teenagers who have been hanging about our two town parks and the parking lot in front of Burton’s grocery. No school because ….. Anyway, the Master Gardener and I continue our normal spring projects. The yellow iris have begun to bloom and the azalea are putting on a great show. The wild hydrangea are coming out. Eagerly awaiting the appearance of our day lilies. It’s a beautiful day. ( great band, by the way)

Thank you. I’ve pulled more weeds in the last two weeks than in last two years. As far as band, assuming you are referring to Humble Pie and if do, that’s a big yes!
