How Ya Doin’ Boys? We’re Here For 30 Days

Isn’t this a special time to be alive?

I was trying to come up with a song that reminded me of what we are currently experiencing and almost immediately, this one came to mind.

30 Days In The Hole

I first heard it in 8th grade, (1973) …. the Smokin Album

The late, great Steve Marriott and Humble Pie at their very best.

Marriott was one of the greatest gifts the UK ever gave to the world.

The video clips are not of them playing this song, but gives you something to look at.

Anyone else remember this record?

Great song though for me,this is my first time to hear it.Same with the band (great performers!). Another song that came to my mind is from the Bee Gees—Staying Alive. May you and your entire family continue to stay safe. This year’s Easter season will be much different for all of us.

Brilliant choice of song! My husband has it on vinyl – I can see that’s going to be the soundtrack to dinner tonight!

Remember it well – I’m old. It was one of the favorites of the snipe gang on the Rathburne 1971-72. And the rest of us liked it – nothing like 30 days on the gunline to make you appreciate good music.
