Share The Love

Bloggers, as a group are typically happy and engaging, eager to share our world with others.

A few months ago, I mentioned having lunch with a blogging friend, Just Another Day.  This post includes a photo of Jim and me on the day before I shaved off my beard.

Alas, I digress.

Jim’s son, Pat has started a blog and I wanted to share the news with all my readers. I ask that you join me in subscribing to The Scoop from The Patio.  Take a minute and encourage Pat as he starts down this path and develops his blog (Be patient as it doesn’t happen overnight).

He has a good, blogging mentor in his dad, who introduces his son’s blogging adventure here, Writing From The Heart.

Welcome to the blogosphere, Pat. I hope it will be as much fun for you as it has been for me. . . and your dad.

I’ve only been blogging a year, but Jim’s blog is one I never miss. I even wrote a blog post about Jim and his blogging streak. That’s pretty cool that you guys got a chance to meet in person. I signed up for Pat’s blog the other day.

Thanks, Peter. In my 10+ years in this blogging community of ours, I have met several other bloggers and it has always been a positive experience. It helps cement the relationship and make the bond stronger. I’ll travel up to 100 miles to meet another blogger, as long as it fits my schedule. Being in SC, I’ve met guys at Charleston, Hilton Head, Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC. I did meet with a few guys in Ohio on more than one occasion. Jim is a really nice guy and I’m happy to help Pat get started.

thanks, Ray! As you note, the blogging community is a wonderful one to be part of. I appreciate your support of Pat’s blog; he already has more than 20 followers (I think it took me more than a year to get that many). More importantly, he seems to be enjoying the opportunity to share his thoughts with the world…
