I remember, back in the 1970s (sigh), the #1 radio station in the New York City Market was 77 WABC. It was top 40 format and somehow, two guys named Ricard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong occasionally found their way onto that playlist.
If you were alive and listening to the radio in the 70’s, you could probably recite at least one Cheech & Chong skit word for word. (Click on the link for their history and embedded links to skits)
