We remember our beloved “Maggie” who died a year ago today. Megan was with her the day she was born at the farm and all of us were with her 12 years later when she died. She was sassy and the titular head of our fur family, never to be replaced.
Fall has arrived in South Carolina. I love the juxtaposition of the blue skies, turning leaves, and the Palmetto tree.
I recently cleaned up the desktop on my iPad, but a few days later, I found this app loaded on. I don’t recall seeing it previously and it was grouped around the apps I use daily. Typically, apps like this I put in folders to reduce clutter, so I am thinking it was put there by some powerful, unmovable force at Apple. Can anyone shine a light on this for me?
Baby Adeline slept through most of her Sunday after attending her Aunt Megan/Uncle Andrew’s wedding shower last night. It was her first, “big night out” and she did great.
Monday starts a new week, full of new adventures. Grasp each one and run with it. And, in the words of Sgt. Esterhaus, “Let’s be careful out there.”
(Who remembers that line?)
The Apple Store logo app I believe is for you to click and to go to the Apple Store website to buy their products. I suppose it is similar to clicking with the Amazon App and to go the Amazon website to order stuff. With Black Friday coming, you have nothing to lose by clicking it and finding out what it brings. If you do not like it, just exit out. I believe these computer companies have contracts with Apple,Microsoft, etc to insert their logo apps as part of the routine computer upgrades.

Thank you. Yes, you are correct. I’ve been a “Mac guy” since 2005. My question was, How did it get there because I didn’t download the app and even if I did, I would have located it on a different screen. Did Apple load it onto the device during a recent iOS update and install it on the first screen of my iPad?

It is very possible because i myself get so much other Apps that I never used nor heard about. I guess it is something like junk mail. They will find you. I am not very techy when it comes to this but I guess that it is what is. As to what the Sgtsaid earlier, it was not familiar to me. I had to ask someone who said it was from Hill Street Blues.

That it correct. It was from a scene that opened every episode. Thank you for being an engaged reader ❤️
