Yup, Magical

It has been just over 24 hours since our first grandchild came into this world.

Magical.

Adeline Louise, 8lbs, 20 inches and cute as can be.

For all my “Mountie” friends, the late Msgr. Robert Kline would have said, “Now, that’s a baby”

Numerous grandparents shared some of the emotions I might experience and they were correct. One bit of advice, and I forgot who told me, is that grandchildren are the gift God gives you for not killing your child when they were a teenager.

Elissa sent me a text this morning, including a YT video and the words, “Been wanting to send this to you for months”. I have to give her credit for keeping her name a secret for so long.

As I held her in my arms, I began to sense the special gift this tiny human is to our family.
