Anything Is Possible

Here is a  thought as we start a new week:

If God can make a bug’s butt light up, think what he can do for you.

The possibilities are limitless, no?

Thanks to Joyce Hoffmann for the meme and I don’t know who V.E.S. is to give them credit.

Thank you for the .mention, I will try and find out the source. In Indiana we have lots of lightning bugs and they have always fascinated me. Good job God.

I think VES is an avid fan of an American writer–Charles Martin who wrote many books including Chasing Fireflies,A Novel of Discovery. Mr. Martin’s quote is “If God can make a firefly’s butt light up like a star, then anything is possible.Anything.”

You are welcome. I love the subject of literature. I am a certified bookworm. When that firefly phrase came out on your blog, I knew that it was from Mr. Martin because I saw his book at the bookstore. The actual title did not come out to me right away though the word–firefly–does ring a bell for me. I had to search Mr. Martin’s name, then look for one of his books and then make an in-depth search regarding that particular quote to make sure it was from that book I actually read. VES probably paraphrased it for simplicity purposes.
