On Time & Music

“Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid”.

Frank Zappa
1940 ~1993

The trick here for me is to find a Zappa song that passes the “my mother reads the blog” test. “Wet T-Shirt Nite” is out of the question.

While the song below may appear silly to you, the music is ridiculously complicated and the band is made up only of “A-list” players.

A quote on Frank’s music: His work is characterized by nonconformity, free-form improvisation, sound experiments, musical virtuosity, and satire of American culture

Here’s the full  Wiki:  Frank Zappa.    He was a genius.
