Notes To Self

I stumbled upon this today and have filed it away in my “Notes to self” folder.

“My little brother just asked, “Why are people so nice to the people who are about to die?”  And I told him that we want to make their last few moments on earth happy, and he told me, “Everyone dies a little every day and sometimes we don’t know when a person is going to die, so why isn’t everyone always nice, because we never know what’s going to happen to someone”.

So true. So simple. Why can’t we be nice all the time?

Sitting between 2 big dogs right now getting wet kisses, makes me wonder why we don’t treat people as well as our dogs treat us.
