Bold Indeed

The 1980s were a bold time for music and Chip Davis was one of the boldest, with his band, Manheim Steamroller,  being responsible for the Fresh Aire series of albums and then CDs.

“New Age” music for the huddled masses.

Manheim Steamroller Christmas, 1984,  was one of the first albums that took traditional Christmas songs and made them new, yet recognizable.

A beautiful sound that transcends generations.

One of my favorites. Took the whole family two years ago to a concert. Have 2 of their cd’s playing in my car right now. Christmas music starts in mid November for me.
