Why I Blog.

When I started blogging almost nine years ago, one of the first serious bloggers I came in contact with was Kurt, the boss over at CulturalOffering.com.  Kurt, along with Doug over at Eclecticity Light mentored me and helped me keep it fun.

Reason #1 why I blog is that I do so to amuse myself. If anyone else enjoys it, all the better.

Reason #2 why I blog is to get answers to life’s persistent questions, like. . .

A few years back, Kurt started one of many lists he has created and this one was called

The 25 Blogs Guaranteed To Make You Smarter.

By some stroke of luck, my first blog A Simple, Village Undertaker made the list.  When I stopped adding content there and started Mitigating Chaos a year and a half ago, Kurt was kind enough to let me stay.

Kurt recently updated the list and I was happy to still see my name in lights, so to speak. Us bloggers become friends and I have shared dinners and or cigars with five of the guys on the list. There are a few others that are still on my bucket list to meet someday.

As I was visiting the honored sites this morning, I came across a most interesting article over at   A Large Regular that was entitled: The Best College Prank of All Time.

Where else would you find stories like this if not for the Intertunnel?

Thank you Kurt for creating this list and including me with some mighty fine individuals.

I encourage my readers to take your money-back guarantee challenge which you will see when you click on the link
