It has been said that the music you listen to in high school and college is the music you listen to for the rest of your life.
No argument from me.
I recall being in graduate school in Cincinnati and learning all the songs on the guitar.
I came across this one the other day.
Throwin’ it back to 1979. From the Flirtin’ With Disaster record.
I regret never seeing them live.
Anyone else remember this one?
College days were full of Motown, even though it was old then – too much more to enumerate here but fun to think back!

I definitely listen to a wide variety of music, but I will always be partial to the music of the late ’60’s early ’70s. I graduated from high school in 1970 and I think the music of my youth is superior. Doesn’t everyone think that about their era! LOL! I don’t have any recollection of the recording you’ve shared, but I love it when you share what you enjoy, Ray. Good music is good music!

Thank you. I graduated in 1978. Molly Hatchet was a “Classic, Southern Rock Band”, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_Hatchet) and probably wouldn’t be that influential with the California, music scene. Their song “Gator Country” refers to many of the bands of their era…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTR13MV4fqc
