Maybe There Is Hope?

I almost wrecked the car today as I saw something I hadn’t seen in a very long time.

So shocking,  that I had to do a double take, thus the close-call.

I saw two boys, around age 8-10, playing in a tree.

A tree in a playground.   

I can’t remember the last time I saw two boys playing like that.

I did not see any ipads,  smartphones, or Gameboys.

I did see boys playing, getting dirty and risking getting bruised.

Playing, like I used to play in the trees in my yard when I was a kid, and if the truth be told, occasionally when I was a teenager (I liked being up in trees.

There is hope.
