Roseanne –

Re-blogging this piece saves me from writing my own opinion, which would be remarkably similar.


When I first heard the grave news that Roseanne’s show was cancelled by ABC because of a racist remark, I thought oh no,  Now what? What are people getting all hot and bothered about now?!

Weeeell, She deserved to get flack for her comment, she should not have made it and she knows it, but to cancel her show? Really? I wonder what is going through the networks minds these days?  A person can’t say boo and they’re running like scared rabbits.  Where is that coming from?

To be honest, I don’t like the show in the first place.  It involves a lot of yelling and inconsiderate and demeaning comments from everyone to anyone. Granted the underlying sentiment is that despite disagreements and differing opinions, they still love one another… or so I’ve been told. I don’t think I’ve ever sat through a whole episode.
