A New Holiday

Aside from a bonus for themselves and raises for their staff, Congress also authorized a new Federal holiday.

A note from a friend. . .

I was eating breakfast with my teenaged granddaughter

and she mentioned today was a special day”

She said, “It’s U.S. Congressman’s Day!”

I asked her “What does that mean?”

” U.S. Congressman’s Day is when they step out of the Capital Building, see their shadow, and we have 4 more years of bull sh*t.”

Of course, that reminds me of a song. . .
