I’ll Wait Another Year

The other day, I made mention of a rare occurrence of my “binge-watching”  a TV show, Season 4 of The Peaky Blinders to be exact.  The-problem-right-between-rum-and-gin-is-that-gin-right-it-leads-to-the-melancholy.-Whereas-rum-incites-violence-it-also-allows-you-to-be-liberated-from-your-self-doubt

I’ll need to wait almost another year before season 5 is released.

Several comments/texts/e-mails came from fellow fans of the series and I thought it might be nice to share six minutes of my favorite character in the series, Alfie Solomons.

Below is Alfie’s return to the show in episode four of season four (current).  His persona, played by Tom Hardy, is classic and one of the reasons he has been one of the most popular characters in the series, even though he does not appear in every episode.

I must warn you that there is ample use of the “F-word” that apparently was more common back then than it is today. So, be prepared.

Oh, yea.  and Happy New Years everyone.

  1. How strange that the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) has blocked this video in the U.K. on copyright grounds, so unable to watch the clip!
