Sunday Pipes #7

It was probably forty years ago, (that would make me seventeen years old)

I remember it was cold.

I don’t remember who played or what they played, but I went to my first organ recital at The Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ.

Since then, much to the chagrin of many around me, I have been a fan and frequent listener  of the “King of Instruments.”

Here is Gordon Turk performing Gigout’s Tocatta.

About Ray V.

Living in Aiken, South Carolina, USA, I like to share what I am looking at, thinking about or listening to. I refer to this as the view out my window. Thanks for stopping by.

No chagrin here … I so look forward to your Sunday Pipes feature. It minds me to write the story of a fellow I know. If I get my act together which is always in the lap of the Gods chez moi, I’ll link your series to the post. May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family the happiest New Year with 2018 filled with peace and content, joy, laughter and above all things, love. May all your surprise ahead be good ones ☺
