Report From The Heartland

There is a transformation going on this first, full week of December. Many parts of the Country are seeing their first snowfalls and even those of us in “The South” are looking at a forecast of cold, hard rain, with maybe a few snowflakes mixed in.

Lush landscapes are now grey and chilly, but that is one of the ways that the earth re-news itself.  Maybe the same can be said for us? img_4920

Below is a link to a colum written by “The Chicken Grandma”. Faye and her husband Larry  own and operate a real farm in Iowa.  Their hard work helps puts food on your table. Aside from that, she is a gifted storyteller and I thought  Transformation would be worth sharing this morning.

Note: Best enjoyed with a hot cup of cocoa.

  1. Thank you so much Ray! Glad you enjoyed it. Enjoy the hot chocolate…..I am still on the lookout for the white chocolate hot chocolate that my daughter in law had last year! Smoothest hot chocolate ever.
