I’m hoping that the county animal control officer doesn’t show up and tell me we need a permit to have a petting zoo at our home.
We had a full house this weekend, including two extra dogs. Great fun and everyone seemed to get along.
Try to get six dogs to hold still for a moment to catch a photo. It takes patience.
Now if I could only find a way to monetize dog poop.

“Niko, are we almost there yet?”

Big Red & MacKenzie at the door, Maggie, Selby & Snickers in the middle and then Martha checking out the yard.

Snickers & Maggie testing the blow-up mattress.
Wow. You have quite a pack there.

I noticed the date of the new addition as 10/28 and my subscription started on 10/31. No wonder I missed learning about Selby! Thanks for the update! I loved the 10/28 blog! So happy for all of you! 🙂

A lot of dog hairs to clear too Ray! We always had dogs in pairs or more, but we’re just down to the one now. in the past all our dogs were rescue dogs, including a three month old pup that was found tied up in a cemetery the day after Christmas day . She was featured on the local news before the official ‘new home appeal began. I knew where the temporary kennels were so I rang and offered her a home and our Vet also phoned the kennels and offered references. The kennels named her Angel and we visited her every day before bringing her home in the new year. We kept her name but she was the exact opposite of an angel, naughtiest one we ever had, but also my late husband’s favourite.

That’s a great story. . . a Christmas puppy.
Maggie is the only dog you see that is not a rescue, even “The Twins”. Rescue dogs are the best dogs and we will never pay a breeder again.
