Honey For Your Ears

Working on the computer last evening, I noticed a FB notification.

A buddy of mine released a self-produced music video, so I stopped what I was doing and watched it. IMG_2431

When the guy who was James Brown’s (yes, that James Brown) guitarist for two years (1994-1995) and toured  11 countries with him releases a new song, I stop and listen.

Ken is a very humble and unassuming guy, but he is arguably the best local guitarist currently gigging in the area with his bands, Third Time Charmers and Palmetto Groove Party Band.  (Which I unsuccessfully auditioned for several years ago, but I digress)

This is a beautiful instrumental piece, with a great hook chorus,  with video shot throughout Aiken.

Upon listening to the song, I texted Ken, sharing that if honey made a sound, it would sound like this song.   I hope you will agree.

Note:  There was some degradation of sound quality with the YouTube version and Ken took that file down.  Once it is back up I will re-send.  Sorry, but it will be worth the wait.

And here it is:
